Sabbath During Unleavened Bread

Welcome to the weekly Sabbath during the Feast of Unleavened Bread.

As you know, this year, the Feast of Unleavened Bread and all the Feasts of God are later in the year. That’s because there is a leap year, which happens in seven Sabbaths during a 19-year time cycle. Now, the reason that is so is because the movement of the sun, the moon, and the earth do not follow exactly precisely at the same beginning and the end of the year. So, a 19-year time cycle is just like the cycle of the moon for 19 years, and the solar 19-year time cycle comes within a few hours every 19 years. Then, the difference in a few hours is added on every 19-year time-cycle until there is a full day; then, a full day is added. That keeps everything in sequence. Now, likewise, with counting for Pentecost, let’s look at the instructions that we are given in Lev. 23 concerning how to count Pentecost because it is to be on the day after the weekly Sabbath.
