Greetings, everyone! Welcome to the second half of Sabbath services.

Let's also see some other things that we need to do. This involves prayer. This involves yielding to God. Let's come to 1-John 1:

You have trouble—what was that movie, Music Man—'There's trouble in River City.' At that time, they had a terrible evil pool table down there. That shows you how times have changed.

Here's the key: our fellowship with God is the key to all of this. That is the spiritual power that comes from God. 1-John 1:6: "If we proclaim that we have fellowship with Him, but we are walking in the darkness, we are lying to ourselves, and we are not practicing the Truth." If you're lying to yourself and every way is right in your eyes, you're deceiving yourself. What does it say about the heart? 'The heart is deceitful above all things and desperately wicked. Who can know it.'

Conversion is a miracle because it's taking you from that aspect of living to the way that the carnal mind is to have your mind perfected through the Spirit of God. And there are things that we need to do as we're led by the Holy Spirit and through prayer and study, all of it combined.
