How Do We Handle Spiritual Burnout and Depression - Norbert Bohnert
Good morning to everyone in North America, and happy Sabbath to you and those that are into the evening. I hope you had a great Sabbath Day.
I just wanted to welcome all of those here who may be new. Welcome To GoToMeeting.
I want to say Greetings from the brethren across Canada that we were able to visit; it was a very uplifting and inspiring trip; other than the many miles we drove. It got a little bit tiring after an average of nine to ten hours of driving in a day to get across this country. But everyone's in good spirits, considering everything that's going on.
One of the things I've experienced over the last couple of years, of course, with the pandemic and so forth, is that people are a little bit unsure. They're not exactly comfortable with what's occurred, and they're in a state of confusion, uncertainty, and displeasure, not knowing where everything will lead. So many have been cut off from other people, of course, by the restrictions. The isolation has affected the brethren, unfortunately, in some states as well, because of travel restrictions, health constraints getting around, and being able to meet with other brethren because we couldn't meet together and as a group.
So, I'll ask you today about physical burnout as we understand it: has that affected your mental and physical health, and, more importantly, has that possibly affected your spiritual health? Video
